See here a blog about the story of Egill Skallagrímsson
Egill Skallagrímsson (c. 910–990 AD) was a Viking warrior, poet, and farmer from Iceland, best known as the protagonist of Egil's Saga, one of the most famous sagas of medieval Icelandic literature. He is depicted as a larger-than-life figure, embodying the Viking ideal of a fierce warrior with exceptional skill in battle and poetry.
The Viking settlers Egill Skallagrímsson lived in Mosfellsdal his later years and it is said that he hid a treasure here in the valley.
We are going to look for Egil's treasure and then taste food that the Vikings ate.
